There comes a time when you have to hold your hand up and just give way to different class. No major arguments from me. Well maybe just the one but someone else can bring that on. Fair play to UCC and in particular Josh O Shea.

Josh o Shea was superb today . A level above everyone else on pitch . Rockmount were very poor up top, first time seeing them this season was dissappointed with them

Comfortable for Cors after the early dismissals of Hoggie and Lally.

    Mayfield 0-1 Fermoy.

Lovely day for football and thanks to Mayfield for moving kick off to 1.30 to help us out.

Start of game was tight between both sides then they started to find gaps in our back four. They had 3/4 one on ones with Mick, he saved two of them, one came off the post. Rode our luck big time. Turning point was after 40 mins, their cb stuck a head but on ours at a corne. Had to go, we scored from next corner. Saw out second half, should have got more but we'll take it. They are young but very tidy on the ball.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

Il bring it up stone wall penalty flagged by the Lino at 0-0 and the ref over rules it when I say stonewall the Ucc player thought he was on the next pitch I'm sure.
Ucc well above mount tho in fairness

UCC look strong and will hopefully put a good challenge in for league this year after last year its needed for the league in general.josh was on a different level. ballincollig had a great win to show they are on the comeback, good to see them get a few players back and getting back to where they should be,

Can't remember Rockmount getting a beating like that. I thought it would be much closer. UCC looking good early on.
Leeds beaten 2-1 by Marys yesterday. Leeds had a man sent off after about 25mins for a 2nd yellow. Player had just been booked for being in a scuffle and 2mins later handled the ball, they were lucky the keeper didn't go aswell as he cleaned out the Marys striker after he had got a shot off. Leeds were the better side for the rest of the 1st half. Marys had the better chances overall in the game and deserved their win. Leeds should be ok but they need to calm down on the line, every decision is challenged. The red haired guy (Sean I think) on the wing for Leeds looks a very good player...

I was at the Ucc v Rockmount game and Rockmount were well on top for the first half hour and should have been at least 2-0 up, a stone wall peno turned down after the kinsman flared gore it. Ucc got 2 goals against the run of play from 2 long balls which Rockmount did not deal with.Second half Rockmount had no fight in the second half.
