Limerick FC: 2017 Season in Review

    A long-read, comprehensively combing over Limerick FC's rollercoaster 2017 season: http://bit.ly/2ykCxUt

Thanks to those who read the analyses and/or tuned into Limerick Soccer Live this season. Both I, and my colleagues, have really enjoyed providing you, the supporter, with a real alternative that we feel we can be very proud of.

And make sure to follow me on Twitter, if you wish to keep tabs on my future work, as I don't plan to be active on foot.ie in 2018.

"Although poor in the opposition-half, O’Connor proved a major defensive upgrade on Robson at left-back, as those back-post concessions began to dry up"..... You sure can put a twist on it .. You should have a go at being Harvey Weinstein's PR man !!

Yeah, AOB, also believed that O Connor was a better option than Tracey too. Never saw one game where DOC had a decent game at LB. Came into his own at CB. His article showed have came with a Fake News warning.

AOB - He's definitely McDonalds first name on the teamsheet and a well deserved clubman of the year award will surely be winging it's way to him. On top of all that. his connections to North Korea free press association should be handy when we partner up with North Korean FA.

Yawn. The Lisa Simpson of the League of Ireland. The answer to the question nobody asked.

Good article Alan, one or two points I wouldn't agree with but that's football. Fair play and thanks for the live comms over the season.

Can't agree with all the article but great to read and have alternative LOI analysis. God knows we don't have enough of that.

Add my voice to say thanks for the commentary too, can't make all the matches so it's a great service you're providing. It might be but I find the 95fm commentary unlistenable.

An article as ponderous and lacking in a genuine penetrative thrust as the team were themselves for much of the season. Almost something admirable about the desire to so closely mirror the team being written about.
