Great atmosphere in Dalymount tonight, great to see the old stadium packed and noisy.

Bohs just lack a cutting edge up front. Dundalk struggled to create chances but just had the edge over Bohs up front.

Man of the match for me was Sule, a great prformance from such a young lad.

Prob a bit harsh on Bohs to lose that match, Dlk were poor enough in the first half, better in the second and to be fair kept playing it on the deck and great cross by McGrath for the goal, very well taken by Kilduff.

The Bohs no 16 was very good esp in the first half, little guy, but he fairly got involved. Not sure if Rogers made a save come to think of it.

Happy with the win and another clean sheet.

Decent game tonight at Dalymount, both teams lacked a bit of cutting edge up front. Neither team deserved to lose, although I'd no horse in the race was gutted for the Bohs lads when Kilduff scored. Was great to see such a big crowd on a Wednesday night, definitely think it spurred the teams on.

He was excellent in the first half, but I thought Gartland/Vemmelund were both superb for Dundalk in central defence.

They didn't put a foot wrong and Vemmelund adapted very well to the different challenge posed by Akinade when he came on.

It is essential that a team is defensively sound going into Europe. We are now looking very strong in that area, mainly due to that central defensive partnership.

Yep, Vemmelund was brilliant all right, looked different class.

Bohs kept Dundalk at bay quite well, but their lack of final ball killed them. Ward is painfully inconsistent. he can do some brilliant things but his final ball last night let him down continually.

Thought Benson was outstanding for Dundalk. Best player on the pitch IMO.

He was very quiet, which is understandable considering he only trained with the team for the first time on Sunday. He has some turn of pace though, he flew past Pender chasing back a ball and the run left Pender with a hamstring injury.

Good to hear. I think ye can give Rosenbourg a real rattle. Tough ask but it can be done!

Its interesting how consistent Dundalk have been in the past couiple of months, especially as these clean sheets and heavy scoring wins sandwich our convincing victory at Oriel. Have they finally turned a corner, or is there such a gap back to the chasing pack? We won't know until they play Rosenborg, or perhaps until they play us again, but by then we'll be a different beast as Seani and Kev will be gone.

Sickening to lose at the death like that, I thought we'd weathered the storm. But the injuries to Pender and Sule were critical as we already had 3 first teamers injured. But that's football.

Great crowd and atmosphere down there for a Wednesday night and if we keep playing like this we should be able to keep ourselves out of the relegation dogfight.

A bit of both I'd guess, though I think more so the latter. There is quite a gap between the top 2 and everyone else at the moment.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

The lad Sule was brilliant before he went off injured. Cracking prospect. Connolly was rubbish.

Spotted this on twitter earlier.(Trackchamp ??)

Kilduff header with a minute of normal time remaining.Lovely cross by McGrath.
Dundalk never gave up the ghost against a resolute Bohs rear guard.Bohs losing Pender and Sule was certainly a factor in the late concession but......

How good was Vemmelund for us? Key player and was unlucky not to score.Duffy not starting was a poor decision by SK imo,we looked better(shape) and more balanced when he came in.

Shout out also for Wardy(Keith) 'triffic baller that lad.Was sure he was going to unhinge us and he almost did on several occasions.(the bo11ox )

Good crowd & atmosphere for a 'mid-weeker' and a sweet victory to get
