    Yesterday had the highest number of Premier League fixtures (seven) without an Ireland starting player in the league's existence. The previous high was five games on 6th November 2016.

    That not a good stat for us but thats the way the premier league has gone .

    Not to worry - as long as Leeds (O'Kane and hopefully Shaughnessy), Villa (Hourihane, Hogan and hopefully Doyle-Hayes) and Preston (the entire team) get promoted and Palace, Swansea and Huddersfield get relegated, while Declan Rice, Conor Masterson and Shane Long establish themselves as starters, next season will be better
