You're gas... somehow if you pox Rovers and get a home draw, you might actually get more than 24 people at Flancare for a game.

And yet we haven't had to rebrand. Besides I'd be disappointed if we didn't get at least 25

Anyone know when the semi final draw is on ? Those matches usually scheduled for the August BH weekend, usually that Monday.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).

And yet you're still a nothing club that nobody gives a shyte about, even your own pathetic supporters base. You're back where you belong, irrelevance.

to be honest the Galway Utd from the past is the present form. so whateva galway trophies won in the past is valid in their history!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Not according to the genius above, although he didn't mention Cork City along with ourselves for some reason. I think I know why though... Listen sorry but you're far too irrelevant to manifest some sort of rivalry with, try Cabinteely, you both probably have a similar amount of Dub journeymen in your team along with a few of our cast offs.

Haha yeah we're the ones trying to manufacture a rivalry. Sound.

How does this work? That clubs can come and go, cut loose their debt but can cherry pick to keep former glories aspect of the former club or entity.

Rovers missed some outrageous chances first half but Town were actually starting to get on top second half and got caught on the break with a sucker punch for the goal. Great effort from our lads (wasn't impressed with rovers at all albeit their B team)

This attempt to create a Galway-Longford rivalry is my favourite since some Sligo fans on here tried to kick off a rivalry with Finn Harps and the Harps fans laughed at them.

The FAI must be wondering what balls they need to put in the microwave now that Pats and Rovers aren't both options.

I hope not, we've never won a penalty shoot out, except that one against Hibs in the "Capital of Culture Cup".

It was good to see Boyd, Dillon Haney, English etc get a bit of game time they are all good players that have a decent future ahead of them.
Dillon is normally a great finisher, missed a few last night.
9 changes from last Friday but several of those who came in are really first teamers. Longford were ok on the night you could see that they are running into form a bit. Still think Clarke is a phenomenal player hopefully we can hang on to him.
