Yeah, and guess who did win the league both those years ?

Mind you, I'm going to stick my neck out here and say we might not repeat that feat this year !
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

If only we could play Bohs and Rovers every week we'd be sorted

Extra time here in Oriel. Dundalk should kick on and win, but we've done well with a changed team ourselves. Annoying that dundalk equalised when we were down to ten for an injury. But what can you do.

Very comfortable for Cork tonight. We made 10 changes and a couple of them are nowhere near good enough.

Game at Finn Park has been stopped for 20 minutes due to a serious head injiry. 2 ambulance on pitch. Very, very worrying.

BJ Banda stretchered off. Later on Mailley and Doherty clash heads. Doherty and Banda taken to hospital. Sounds like some horrible injuries. Hope everyone is ok.

Shels 0 Longford 2. Two wins over Shels in a couple of days. I assume we play one of the Dublin clubs in the quarters.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Think rovers/Bohs/CABO/Athlone were the remaining teams in our pool.
