If you ever needed a game to bounce back from, after an opening night to forget, then Rovers is the perfect tonic. Form, means nothing in these games.

This is a game neither side can really afford to lose.

Rovers are clearly the favourites but the pressure on Bradley and his players would be enormous if they got turned over. Could fear be a factor on the night?

I'm trying to remember if there's ever been a Longford United FC. I'm sure there must have been at some stage at a local level.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

there was Longfordian. Longford Town FC and Longford United FC merged to make it Longford Town FC in 1981. Donald Keogh and Tom Kelly were with Longford Utd originally.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Heading to Hunky Dorys with a few other lads to check out the new look Drogs and Pats sides tonight.

The only upside to not having a Dundalk game on a Friday.

There is a game on telly but I couldn't stomach watching Rovers two weeks in a row.

Absolutely bucketing down here in Cork this morning. My street was practically flooded. Looks like its eased off, and games are rarely called off in TX, though conditions may not be great.

It's very bad down here alright. Stopped for a bit there, but lashing here again where I am. As far I remember, the last time a game was called off was in 2009, a setanta cup game against Sligo, very similar weather that day
