Just out of curiosity, is it still the case that there's VAT applied to ticket sales in the north? If so, is it applied to season tickets and advance sales in Derry, then matchnights in Buncrana are exempt?
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.

I see Martin Russell has not made a big deal of what happened the other night according to the Irish Mirror. He says that these things happen and that Derry travel more miles than any other club. I find this a very sensible and refreshing attitude to take, as this was not the first game ever abandoned due to a power failure. I suppose Harps are not too far behind in terms of miles traveled. Which club would come 3rd in the travel league?
Interestingly, Limerick have the third highest amount of travel to do on average.
If you take every club having to travel to every team once, Cork travel the most distance, followed by Derry (in Maginn Park), then Limerick. Harps and Galway are next.
Will do First Division clubs later, but ran out of time this morning before work.

My dream Nigel, is to some day have the time to work out stuff like that. Nice job btw.
No, still short of Cork. Those lads have it severe. Always assumed Derry and Harps would have been the worst hit.
