Decent crowd that for the new managers first game, thought the match had a draw written all over it. Saved some of my weekend losses !

Not sure really, hard to judge Maginn Park. There's definitely been more in there this season, but maybe that was because attendance was under-reported before. Going by a very unscientific method, traffic seemed only slightly lighter than usual.

Do they have to count all the tickets that were bought for the original game?

5,361 in Cork for Cork City vs Bray Wanderers. No offence but we were playing Bray and over 5000 at it. Madness. This season is a dream.

Well it was a top of the table clash and Cork are flying but yeah over 5k is a good crowd - keeping them coming through the gate when the 5 losses in a row collapse happens in the run in we be the true marker of support

Another frustrating night for our lot, there is a very good article on the Rovers website, a Shane Robinson interview where he compares the training set to when he was a player. A lot of what he is saying is absolutely right with regards to the direction of the club and its Vision to be a football club embedded in the community from under 8's all the way up to a semi professional team competing in the our National League. We are not the only club doing this but i think that we are the only club that has come out and said look this is the way we are going and here are the reasons why. This is the only way forward in terms of long term sustainability my only fear is we become a "suoer UCD" great underage structures but perennial mid tablers in the league. On the pitch we more often than not start well but as mentioned on various forums and media when we score we stop playing. the change in mindset and our "stop playing" when we take the lead has led to us then losing or drawing the game in most cases. Now its the fear of conceding that is stopping us playing in the same manner after we score, self-fulfilling prophecy stuff now at this stage. one thing i simply do not understand is Bradly's persistence with our Keeper who is worse than Crusty the clown at the moment. his nerves are shot and playing him week in week out is doing him or the team no favors. Rest him and then if he is training well bring him back. Hyland last season, he did alright at the start and then had a few iffy games but the coach persisted in playing him and which destroyed his confidence. Where is Hyland this season AFAIK not even playing the game, very sad. One could argue that this persistence we have in playing players that are obviously struggling is doing more harm than good both in terms of the group and the individual themselves. On changing the manager thats a hard one to call and given our by now almost annual knee jerk reaction to poor starts i would say No. Keep Bradser but the club do need and i am sure they do, talk to him on how they can best support him. I will say it again he needs an experienced No 2 and then only the 2 of them on the bench. Some day we will compete again but its 3 years away at least.
