Amazing what a scuffed shot in the 120th minute of a cup final can do for your popularity at a club

Caulfield plays the media and judging by some of the posts on here it's worked.
He's in their heads which is exactly what he wants 😆
You do realise that this is a fans forum and the people who comment are not players or managers of opposing clubs?

So it makes no odds if Caulfields comments wind up a bunch of fans. There is no evidence whatsoever that his comments have ever gotten to rival managers or players, the reverse is probably true though...

Both him and Kenny Shiels have broadly the same approach to the media. Say stupid **** and when people give out and/or laugh, then locally try to frame it as "us vs them". The Healy-Rae approach.

Both Jim Corr and John Caulfield believe in the telekinetic powers - if rival supporters get wound up on the internet, victory will surely follow....

FORAS: "John, you've made yourself look a dope in the media again, how are we to deal with this?"

    A very long pause...

JC: "Could we pretend I was playing mind games incredibly badly?"

The assembled audience look on in awe. He's done it again. High fives all round and the world continues to turn.

Mind games! I suppose our quietly spoken chairman was playing mind games too when he going on about signing Greek players or bringing in CSKA's bit players on trial...
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Good signing, always been a fan of Davy now.
All seems a bit unnecessary really though, it's not like ye's aren't going to win the league anyway.

    Looks like it worked.
Watching Kenny waving his arms about last night it looked like someone else was controlling him
Then again maybe he was just waving for a taxi or it could have been the fact that Buttimer was driving everyone crazy

You're right, Kenny is cracking up, just like last year and the year before that!

Thought Buttimer was OK.... for Buttimer! Probably could have dished out a few more cards

If Cork win the league, well done to them, but again it won't be because Caulfield has got into anyone's head.

It's been said on Harps forum tonight that Paddy McCourt has signed for the club this evening.

I can't lie, I'm a little bit excited about that.

    That leaves:

    In:

    Kilian Cantwell (Galway)
    Danny Morrissey (Cork)
    Caolan McAleer (Greenock Morton)
    Ciaran O'Connor (Dundalk - loan)
    Harry Doherty (Cockhill Celtic)
    Jonny Bonner (Wexford)
    Paddy McCourt (Glenavon)

    Out:

    Richard Brush (Ballinamallard)
    Ryan Curran (Ballinamallard)
    Ryan McConnell (Ballinamallard)
    Adam Hanlon (Wexford)
    Dave Scully (Released)
    Kevin McHugh (Retired)
    Ruairi Keating (Torquay United)
    Tony McNamee (Swilly Rovers)
