Are we to assume at this stage Martin is our manager for next season? By this time last year we were flying it signing up our better players.

Holohan would be a fine signing for us. Could be heading back towards the Dublin direction though. Holohan, Duggan, O'Connor and Lynch would pretty much sort us midfield wise.

Seen a few people mention this and wonder why it seems to be taking longer this year but I think a lot of it is because of the good work done last year we have almost all our best players signed for next season anyway. Hall,Tracy,Paudie,Duggy,O'Conor,Lee J all signed up already I can't imagine it will be too hard to get Robbie Williams signed up considering his life is in Limerick now so that doesn't really leave many left to get signed up only really Kelly,Greene,Mulhall and Kenny you wouldn't want to lose and some might not even be too pushed by some of that 4 leaving.

Holohan from Kilkenny isn't he so we might not be too bad location wise for him if we were interested.

Glad it is sorted. 1 year because it is all we offered or all he was willing to take?

Think it suits both sides tbh not sure club are 100% sure Martin is the man to take us to next level and not sure Martin is 100% this is where he wants to be long term. Not that hard to get a deal done longer term at the end the season if all goes well and everyone is happy and saves us having to pay off 2 or 3 years of a deal if it doesn't work out.

Fair enough. Hopefully the squad starts to get filled out soon. Would like to see us sign guys for 2 year deals where possible, I wonder if that is less likely with the manager only confirmed for 1.
