I picture him at UCD alright when I try and recall him though I knew he'd ended up at Limerick too. Will be the third Mulhall to play for us within three years, all unrelated as far as I know. Mad stuff, Ted.
Was in our European squad; played all four games.
Great player for that and that alone.
Decent signing for Longford alright.

Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
I see Paddy Barret has left Dundalk. Presume permanent move to Waterford?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Shels in 2011 were denied that First Division title in the dying seconds by Cork.
Mulhall had two wretched spells with Shels. He made the first team when Shels were demoted in 2007 but only made one appearance before he was immediately out of favour and gone in no time under Dermot Keely. He returned in 2011 when he was mainly restricted to substitute appearances under Alan Mathews, he was an unused sub for the FAI Cup final that year. Always thought he looked a decent winger in those years (more of a striker now) but in both spells with Shels it was the wrong time under the wrong type of managers
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians
Paddy McEleney deciding between Derry, Dundalk and Blackburn.
I wouldn't have thought we'd have the cash to offer enough to him myself.

Patrick went to Dundalk to get a good move to England. If he doesn't get a move after his performances over the last two years, he may decide change his priorities and go back to Derry if they can offer him a decent contract.
However, Dundalk appear to be offering players pretty good contracts.
Hope McEleney stays at Dundalk. Hes rubbish. Scores loads of goals against terrible teams and disappears when it matters. If he leaves then I'd worry they might play 11 men against us.
Enter comment about Gannon using Rovers to get a better deal out of Dundalk here.
well I reckon he's a super player I hope he leaves as there aren't to many like him around, even with the euro millions Dundalk will struggle to replace him.
Maybe he didn't play well against Cork but you could say that about a lot of the Dundalk players against Cork last year, he did a lot elsewhere
Not just last year though. McEleney has never performed against us. Dundalk look like they're playing with a man down everytime. Maybe it's just us and he steps up against other good teams though, I don't see enough dundalk games to say. Not overly bothered if he resigns with them, he'll obviously win them some points, but a decent replacement would perform against us so same same really. Gannon is a good resigning. 3 year deal is a big statement.
never been impressed by him anytime ive seen him. just seems to pop up with a good goal for everyone to talk about every now and again.
There was a rumour a couple of weeks back in one of the rags suggesting McEneff to Dundalk. I wonder if they're considering that getting McEneff out and McEleney in is a good bet? If McEleney signs for another season it's not very likely he'll ever depart for England. McEneff is only 22 and could be gone in a season or two. That's a gamble in terms of contract length and hopes of future renewal though.
