Rté and the FAI have an unwritten agreement to focus on games at the beginning and end of the season so don't expect any round 2 fixtures to be shown by them

If Cork beat Dundalk again it might as well be the end of the season as far as the title is concerned.

It already is over. Anyone who thinks Dundalk will overturn a 14 point deficit, feel free to place a bet on it.

Dundalk are actually 15 points behind, bray are 14.

Still 21 games left. I'm a it's not over till its over kinda guy so I'll wait to see where we are with 10 games left. Great position to be in of course but there's a lot of football to be played yet. How we'd react to a defeat in the next few games would be interesting

I was thinking it was currently 12 for some reason. Yeah they're not coming back from 15 behind.

That's confirmed now Nigel, and btw don't be thinking you can sneak out of not going to OP later in June for the Dlk v Harps match, live on EIR sports, you won't get €4 pints of harp anywhere else!

Woo..hooo......RTE are so original, where have they been since the end of April, the football season did not take a mid-season break as far as I know!

What a Joke, shame on the FAI again and again and a gain.............there must be some big International WC qualifier coming up soon, so they will have to get the crews out on a trial run beforehand!

    It's not rugby.......................it's only a football match!

Thankfully, I don't need to leave Letterkenny to look for €4 pints! €3.90 pints in my local

Of course though, I'll not miss the chance to complain about one of the few away sections as bad as Finn Park.

Is there a LoI game being shown live on tv this weekend?
    A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity seems lost somewhere in between for new clubs/regions to become part of LoI family.

Does Maginn Park have the facilities to host a televised game? I imagine that's the main reason. If it was in the Brandywell it'd be shown I'd have thought.

This is our biggest risk of a loss. We're down a few crucial bodies at the back and we're eyeing up the EL during the week. Also, add in the journey and a Derry that will be looking to bounce back from last week. I'd take a draw right now.

Have to agree with you there, I'd take a point if it was offered.

I'd say that even if Maginn Park had a full TV suite RTE would still be off to Oriel Park for a non-event game.

They've shown numerous times in the past that the shortest journey possible from D4 is always their preferred choice. No denying this is sad but true.
