So Limerick down to needing 19 goals from 5 games to hit the ton. Today's match was the bare minimum they needed to keep on track.

Limericks 4th goal tonight was there 100th in all competitions this season was announced along with mulhall the goalscorer

Lot of surface water from heavy rain all evening.
The rain started at 6:15, there was an inspection at 7pm which passed, though it obviously not playable at KO, I suppose the fact the players were on the pitch and the supporters were in the stands him chance it.

Ah they definitely had to get it going but it was clear by the end of the warmup that the game would never last 90.

Just funny that both games in the showgrounds have been abandoned now.

    Summer football lads!

You're spot on but next season the first division won't or at least shouldn't have an utterly dominant side like Limerick. What we badly need is a player who'll give 15 or so goals.

Shocking weather in Sligo, game to be rescheduled ASAP, once Cork and Dundalk give the all clear I'd assume

Was relatively happy with our performance on Friday , there was plenty of fight & effort. It was a awful miss by Kelly but overall he did well.Thought Rory Feely was excellent considering he is only 19 he has a big future in football. As for Billy Dennehy his crossing was awful but he replacement Kinsella didn't fare much better, get the bray match out of the way and move on to the cup game.

Beautiful irony here considering Dalk's form in this regard.

Dundalk must be feeling the pressure having to sink to such lows to score and given Kenny's pen counting and crisp packet comments.

Right so. Maybe I've been watching different matches to you. I've actually been watching Dundalk.

Also quite a number of good young players are coming through so we're going in the right direction.
I was impressed at the standard of football Cobh played. Clearly a well coached team.

What about Dundalk eh? We won a squillion quid in Europe, rearranged Wexford's fixture list, store away fans in concentration camp conditions and contest drop balls you know

Oh and that sour taste is the sour grapes you've been sucking on since last night.
Don't 'do' twitter (think the 'ter' superfluous .). I thought it a pity that an otherwise good game, with two good goals was reduced to a discussion about 'that' incident. Obviously for some idiots anyone not worshipping at the feet of Dundalk is sucking sour grapes, so be it. Thought Dundalk fully deserved the win (and said so) battered us for 65/70 minutes before we had a late rally, but apparently that's not enough.

...maybe you were among those that inhaled the smoke from the flare pre match ?

Bohs have nobody to blame but themselves for that goal. Ball was clearly dropped between the players. But the argument should be that it probably should have been dropped to Bohs to kick possession back to Dundalk.
Otherwise, that was a real humdinger by Byrne.
