Carrigtwohill may be facing into a couple of challenging seasons at Junior level but they now have teams from under 7 all the way up to adult, so the club will be OK in the long run once the under age start coming through.

Carrig wont struggle to field a team this year, in fact looking at numbers they will be able to field a team in both Premier and Division 2, they have a manager in place whose focus is now to bring players through from the 18s squad from last year, rather than fellas from outside who will jump ship at the drop of the hat. A lot of guys need to step up this season and it will be a big step up for a lot of the young guys, but with good squads coming from the underage side of the club they will be stronger again in the coming years

Shame at how carrigtwohil are left in this position but can they say they did not see it coming? Look at how their neighbors Midleton and the state they were left in a few years back. From the looks of it they are recoverying with a large batch of young players coming through now and hopefully carrig can do the same.

Wouldn't go as bad as saying in Big trouble

Just wouldn't have the biggest of squads available to them at moment but all could change

Happy days fellas football back this weekend looking forward to it... There hasn't been much on this about signings and pre season so looking forward to see who's with who and how they get on.
heared that John Corcoran and Howie coakley playing with glenthorn this year don't know how true it is but if so they are two great aquisitions and will definitely help them challenge this year. Wishing all teams involved in all divisions the best of luck for the year ahead!!

Won't be long before Corcoran spits the dummy out again no doubt ... Fine player but a bad egg imo.. howie is the far better player and a proper team player too!!!
seems village have done some good business and luck very strong . Not heard a lot about park grattan or pearse yet ? Many in's or out's???
