    15 clear of Longford now.
    Bray away next.
Interesting that Bray are on their own mini-run - 5 clean sheets in a row, including the win against Falkirk. 3 0-0s in that though. Could be a very tight game in the Carlisle.

Guaranteed handy money at the bookies. Lump on btts.

Yeah since out hammerings to Dundalk and Pats plus cup exit to Crumlin we've drew 1-1 v Rovers, beat Sligo 3-0, Longford 2-0 & Galway 1-0.
    Great bit of work.

Win against Bray and Ollie might actually start looking up rather than down haha.

Level on points with Galway and Pats now. Delighted.

Now that I've been nice to Limerick I'm gonna go back to my own agenda, Limerick are 19 points clear but have conceded only one goal fewer than Drogheda (who play Cobh tomorrow).
Limerick's GD is +42 Drogheda's is +4. And let's be honest, no-one gives a fiddler's f**k how many we concede this season when we're scoring for fun!

Great win for us,the one bit of quality in the game won it for us.Galway huffed and puffed but looked bereft of ideas going forward! Ps Galways left back Walsh is an ars**ole more worried about abusing the linesman than playing the game and then trying to start Keating when he came on.

“It’s fairly obvious that we’re probably going to finish second but we have the opportunity of finishing first. Sunday’s game is so big to us as we have to stay in there."

John Caulfield in the Sun today. An odd thing to say. Does he really believe in his team?

A very poor effort of trying to dampen any expectation for the Cork faithful.

Especially against a side who you have beaten twice already in the league.

Not at all. Wouldn't be worrying after an away defeat to Harps. We've the fourth best home record in the Premier Division this year. If it wasn't for our crap away record, and those two horrible games against Dundalk and Pat's that really damaged our goal difference, we'd be well up the table.

I'm not basing it solely on last night, look at our results since May.

    Relegation form.

Sure Harps had a crap run of form too for a while. Shipped 11 goals in two games and lost to a non-league side in the cup. Went 9 games without a win in all competitions. It's easy to forget that a small change in fortunes can make a big difference in the league table. Galway can turn it around just as quick again, it only takes one big result to raise the confidence levels.

Read it somewhere that Harps hadnt won against Galway in years. When was the previous occasion that harps beat Galway before this weekend?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Just woke up and read the results. That's a fantastic result for us even allowing for the fact that Pats seem to be a far inferior incarnation this season. Seems we are doing just about enough to stay out of relegation trouble.
Considering the start we made I am more than happy.

3rd November 2000 according to Flashscore might be wrong I'm not sure.

Fair play to Pats fans for sticking by Bucko. Most fans would have called for his head long ago.

That's definitely wrong - ye beat us twice in the league in 2004 when ye won the First Division title. Ye also beat us in second leg of promotion semi-final in 2003. Granted, the last Premier Division win ye recorded over us was indeed in November 2000, a 1-0 win in Ballybofey, so that Premier win must be what Flashscore is referring to

4-2 on penalties in Ballybofey after scoreless 120 mins in FAI Cup 2nd Round Replay in 2007, after a 2-2 in Terryland.

    Cobh 2 Drogheda 1.

That result leaves Limerick 19pts clear at the top and only 5 wins away from been crowned first divsion champions providing UCD And Drogheda will all there remaining games.
2 or 3 wins could do it imo.
