Kenny Shields has spoken to Paddy McCourt.

Sammy Clingan's name was mentioned as a signing a month or so ago, but heard nothing since.

Would be two good players for us to pick up. They may head back to Waterford but with the doubt over the club, I can't understand why any player would sign for them. I've said that in the past about loads of clubs though and yet players still seem to go there.

Dean Shields has been released by Rangers. Maybe his da will bring him over to us for a while?

Mind you, our last father/son manager/player ended in tears (Roddy).
