Is the Premium route worth it for the FAI Cup Final? Couple of Ireland regulars I know going, so thinking about seeing how the other half live.

Again, it was a one off. It was never worn again. It was not a home or away jersey. It was a one off white jersey we only wore at the RDS.

How are ticket sales going? Sure with this non-stop marketing by the FAI, it's sure to be a sell-out!

There's an obsession with the FAI and marketing. The bulk of the support will come from the clubs contesting the final.

    A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.

Really? I wasn't aware of that factBe nice thing if they could market the game to all those people not associated with either of the 2 clubs contesting the final. You'd almost think they want to keep it a secret from the wider sporting public.

I'm going and bringing 6 kids
(Only 1 of my own) 3 of them have never been to a live game of football . Rovers had a great poster last season advertising a game and saying "don't let your kids grow up thinking football is a TV event" . Looking forward to it.

Surprised to see Cork at 2/1 for this game with PP given Dundalk's Russian trip. I'd have Cork favourites myself in the circumstances.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

That's nuts. If Cork don't win the cup on Sunday, they may as well take up hurling.

I am only realising now that the cup final is on Sunday. Has there ever been less build up to a cup final? This one should have a huge crowd and a big promotional campaign backing it but I haven't seena single poster or advert for it anywhere.

It's all about Zenit and the Europa League in Dundalk. Ticket sales are going well though, very few tickets left in Oriel Park. I suspect the buzz is bigger in Cork as this is a do or die game for them.

2 lads in work where looking up FAI site for date of final based on Dundalk players getting a call up to the Ireland Squad. Neither would be the type to go to a LOI game but curious now based on Dundalk's exploits. It is really a shame the FAI are not marketing it more based on how well but Dundalk and Cork have done this season. Neither knew it was Sunday till I told them and once I said it was €10 they definitely planned on going.

I kinda wish we didn't have a poster campaign down here for it, I'm caught with a funny looking face right in the middle of it. Bit cringe about it lol
