Just a win will do me, a clean sheet would be a lovely box to tick.
An even nicer one would be to continue the sequence, 4 / 5 / 6 .... and score 7.

I see the blue army had to get a bigger bus great news.
I know of 3 or 4 who are driving along with myself should be a good following heading up.

I'll go for 4-1. Athlone have a very young side without much experience. Their pitch is a big enough one so should suit us. I thought of all the pitches to struggle on it would be Cobh but scoring 4 goals shows it wasn't too much of a hinderence.

The Market's Field pitch isn't exactly perfect. This team shouldn't let a rough surface bother them too much.

In fairness to Russell I have criticised him in the past for not moving to a plan b when it was needed but he did change it and went more direct with balls over the top to counter the pitch a bit in Cobh and it worked well.

As predicted by some in pre-season, Limerick FC continue to struggle in the first division

I saw that John O'Flynn was on the scoresheet. How has he been playing? Myself and many other city fans will tell you that John, in his prime, was the best player ever to play for us. He's got international ability but was hampered by injury throughout his career.

Comfortable night again athlone were the poorest iv seen so far in this league abit there is only 4 games played.
5 different goalscorers again which is impressive goals coming from everywhere we missed 3 or 4 really really good chances on top of that Garbhan and Mulhall to name two.

Bonus was keeping that clean sheet but for anyone who was at the game will see that an extremely poor athlone side should of scored 3 goals against us 2nd half alone which any half decent player would of buried them.
One was when we left ourselves 2 in 2 at the back from our owe set piece athlone had two men free the back post ball got rolled with an open goal Tracy made an unbelievable goal line clearance to be fair he should never got the chance very poor miss.

Two was paudie trying to play out from the back passing it straight to athlone player who squared it hit inside of post should of scored.

Three Tracy got skinned player in on goal hit inside of the post should of scored.

All this was at only 2-0.

My point is this is the reason we got relegated premier teams were putting these chances away in this division we will get away with it but we need to improve our back 4 drastically for next season.
Wexford youths in league cup if furlong plays and we defend like that you will see what I'm talking about.

he scored about 5 seconds after coming on last night, go on to a ball over the top and finished it calmly.

He has mostly been a sub and come on for the last 30 minutes or so, makes lots of runs in behind the defence.

Hard to judge at this level as, especially in the later stages of the game, the opposition is really tiring, but he will continue to score I am sure.

Whats worse is I think conditions did actually slow us down a bit at stages and we still won 5-0.
