Double the Rovers figure at least, no idea where they got that from.

One thing to note on all attendances, a reminder on how they are broken down, this is common with all clubs in UK and I know Dundalk follow the same method.

ST figures are always included on the figure released regardless if they have attended the match or so. So only those paying in or getting a ticket for any other reason will be counted on the night, then that figure is added to the total ST sales. Dundalk had 1,300 ST sold last year, I don't have the figure this year, its not far off that, so in our case any attendance figure will start at that point, then sales or tickets issued on the night added to it.

I have seen posts from fans saying 'this figure does not include ST' etc, I don't think that is correct and most clubs would have included the ST figure when releasing the official attendance.
For the sake of argument, let's just say you had a Monday night game on the worst evening weather-wise of the entire year and only 300 diehards showed up. You'll record the "attendance" as 1600, based on 1300 STs?

Attendance is meant to be those at the event, not those who might wish to be there.

3,526! I knew two who were on early easter holidays.

It would be very unlikely that the majority of those who would have pre paid for a ticket (ST) would not attend, maybe 5%, so having sold over 1,000 ST the smallest crowd will be around 1,600-2k, if it was the case for a poor weather and mon night for eg.

I'd personally count all who attend so I get your point.

Even for a Tuesday night rescheduled game in bad weather against UCD with Champions League on TV (hypothetically)? Happened to us a couple of years ago - we have ~1,000 season ticket holders but there was barely 100 there that day.

As somebody mentioned earlier I think, the rugby teams are always at this. Munster have 10,000-odd season ticket holders but half their matches don't even hit 6,000 and they're not all ST holders, yet they'll still report 15,000 or whatever at the game.

Great crowd, first time there since I was a nipper, pity I witnessed a horror show by us, that said they should give Limerick the trophy now, they were excellent, they will have this wrapped up by July at the latest the way the played.

It has the potential to be one of the best, plenty of room for development. Obviously not having a track around it helps but aside from our 'display' a good experience.

What does the away end in the showgrounds hold? Would have guessed about 400 Harps fans there.

Away section holds 330 seats plus standing area around side and behind goals, not far off the 400 mark.

Was 700 at the pats game and 150 of that was away fans. No way was it anywhere near that. Bray only brought about 10.

A loyal chairman and a very generous backer. If one or both were to go away in the morning, we would be dead.
