Disappointing news as local papers today report that two key players, Stephen Last and Andy Mulligan, have left for New Zealand. Makes our task for staying in the division that much more difficult.
Eric Molloy can be added to the list of those going/gone to New Zealand, apparently for football coaching reasons. All three would be linked through IT Carlow,
Best of luck to them and hope they can be coaxed back next year.
Danny Ledwith and Conor O'Keeffe also heading to New Zealand although it had been announced that these had left the club a few weeks ago. Destination for all five players is Southern United which is to be renamed Sunny South-East United.
Further surprising news that Danny Furlong is almost certainly gone as well (but not to New Zealand).
