Soccer Republic panel mentioned that it was only a matter of time that the club would release an official statement about Heary's contract being terminated or as we all know really........sacked!
Maybe there is some contractual negotiations to be sorted out on both sides...........?

Well to be fair to him if he had a deal he's entitled to get what he's owed. Who in any walk of life would do differently?
From the outside looking in it appears the players have stopped playing for him. Familiar territory for recent Rovers managers.
He did bring in a lot of those players so he has a lot to answer for himself as well it seems to me.
Classic Rovers. Can only assume he'll go on and win the title with Limerick in two years.

Exactly. Is Stuey Byrne not a journalist like everyone else? What makes it so official from him compared to everyone else who already ''broke'' the story.
Byrne is Heary's best mate and two weeks ago on Newstalk he was implying that Heary would be staying at Sligo and now he's saying he's gone so you can be sure that's coming straight from Heary.
I'm sure it is true, as we've known for weeks, but that doesn't make it official.
Of course. I'd imagine the only discussion that is happening now is on how much of a payoff he'll get.
I reckon they're just pretending not to be in and hoping Heary goes away.
