Aha - so you admit your pitch is rubbish

Anyway, back to Soccer Republic. How in Gods name did Bolger not win goal of the month ? I mean, McNamees strike was good, but Bolgers was better, don't care if I am biased.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

I agree with you there. Mcnamees strike would win most monthly awards but bolgers trumps it by a mile

Bolgers goal was the stand out GoTM but if it was a public vote didnt get the numbers. Pats fans needed to get texting along with the rest of fans that can see past club colours to other's quality.

Bolgers's goal was the better goal. Perhaps, people were put off voting for the goal because of the scorer?

Only saw the Derry v Rovers highlights tonight, I couldn't believe the amount of times the ball bobbled at almost every pass. Looks like it needs a good bit of maintenance.

Derry fans, is this the same condition it was in this time last year, or is this the worst it's being for years?

Not to take anything away from the strike, good and all as it was, but I thought the keeper panicked a bit and might have done better.

Maybe but more likely is that Derry fans voted more often. Not that big a deal (or shocking)

Like poor Sean Gannon's goal last season, it's a faaaaaarce. I'd advise Pats fans to get some petrol and head to FAI HQ

It was worse last year actually. Worse again in 2013. Will be fine soon though.
Have you ever won the treble?

Anyone have issues with error messages during SR on rte when the adverts kick in? I've disabled my adblock and use Hola so that may be it but it works fine and then all of a sudden an error #1009 or some crap comes on. Have to restart, click through, watch adverts again, watch another 10 mins of the programme and then do it all over again. Godbless their guerrilla marketing but sort it out ffs.

Spent 2 hours watching the 52 minute programme. All 6 Monday games were covered in less than five minutes so I wish I'd joined you. I know there was little time to edit the footage but jesus, lads.

Quite good to see 50 minutes of the show without any filler though. They should cut the normal show to 30 minutes of that and then throw together a weekly 30 minute football focus style preview show to accommodate that filler. Maybe shown on a Thursday. What a beautiful fiction that vision is.

I havent looked at SR at all this year, which is a pity as I do enjoy it, but for the international version I dunno somedays it doesnt appear to be anywhere on the rte site at all, so I have given up on it.

Did anyone else see "Sligo Rogers" on a graphic, or was I just hallucinating?

Can't say I noticed one way or another, but there was definitely some sort of dream sequence for Kevin O' Connor's goal for Longford.
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.
