I never get these right but here goes anyway

    1 Shamrock Rovers
    2 Dundalk
    3 Pats
    4 Cork
    5 Sligo
    6 Bohs
    7 Derry
    8 Longford
    9 Galway
    10 Drogs
    11 Bray
    12 Limerick

Realistically the bottom half could finish in any order. I'd like to think we'll have enough experience to grind out enough points to stay up but it won't be easy. Just have a feeling Shamrock Rovers are bound to be a lot better this year.

    First:
    1 Athlone
    2 Shels
    3 Wexford
    4 UCD
    5 Harps
    6 Cobh
    7 Waterford
    8 Cabinteely

That division will be ridiculously tight aside from Cabinteely though so again I could be way off.

    FAI Cup: Cork
    League Cup: Dundalk
Setanta: Who's in it again? Er..Dundalk?
    Leinster Senior Cup: Longford
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

    Premier Division:

    1. Shamrock Rovers.
    2. Cork.
    3. Dundalk.
    4. Pats.
    5. Sligo
    6. Derry.
    7. Bray.
    8. Galway.
    9. Bohs.
    10. Longford Town.
    11. Drogheda.
    12. Limerick.

    Top scorer: Fagan.

The entire division is more or less up for grabs tbh it's nearly impossible to predict what will happen.

    First Division.

    1. Shels.
    2. Athlone.
    3.UCD.
    4. Waterford.
    5. Wexford.
    6. Harps.
    7. Cobh.
    8. Cabinteely.

Again probably bar the bottom the table the league is up for grabs but I see Athone Shels and UCD been the top three.

    Top scorer: Hughes.

    League Cup: Sligo Rovers.
    FAI Cup: Cork.
    Setenta Cup: Dundalk.

A lot are underestimating Waterford this year on ths basis of probably our the worse season in the clubs history and don't expect us to improve. But we do have some very talented young players in the squad this season - I'd like to point out U19s lost just one league game all season (Hearing 8 or so on top of the 20 first team players have signed for the first team). Our biggest problem is there next to no experience in our squad, at a guess our average squad age is probably about 21. Willie Jon Kiely is probably our most experienced player, although Vinny Sullivan and John Frost are now coaching at the club which is great experience to have around the squad. We're looking like we'll be competitive this season and don't see us as been 'guaranteed points' to any team unlike last year.

Can't see past Pats winning with Dundalk and Rovers battling for second which could go either way.
Dundalk are stronger than last year apart from up top and while being very difficult to beat we won't be getting anything close to scoring as many goals as we did last year. If we are close to top going in to the transfer window and get someone decent in we might have a chance.
Cork's style of play and Caulfield's inexperience will be found out badly this season but their squad is still strong enough to there or there abouts.

Sligo could be dark horses this year. I have them at fifth but they really could pull off a few shocks and challenge for Europe.

    FAI Cup: Rovers
    League Cup: Dundalk
    Setanta: Dundalk

Took a long time to get mine posted. I've gone for Dundalk due to the quality of the MF, which I think is the best in the league. We are weaker upfront though, but I still feel with better service and established players in same positions for over 2 years now, that goals will flow all over the team, and the defence is stronger with a better keeper.

Many going for Pats to finish 4th, if that happens you would expect the manager to be sacked there. Maybe an avenue back for Crolly?
Pats have not replace Russell and to a lesser extend Bisto Flood from the championship winning team. However they under achieved last year, much more than Shamrock R when you consider the players they had, so I think they have a great chance of the title provided money is available for summer signings.

    1 Dundalk
    2 St Pats
    3 Cork City
    4 Shamrock R
    5 Bohs
    6 Derry

    4 Finn Harps
    5 UCD
    6 Cobh
    7 Waterford
    8 Cabinteely

the first statement will never happen.
the second one seems a bit OTT.

Our first FAI Cup in 53 years. Bucko must go, under achiever.

    Here on a technicality.

I wouldn't say Buckley should go, but 4th seems a dangerous position to be in for a manager of a team with title expectations. So Pats didn't expect more from last season? If I recall the only other player (in the league) that their fans considered would improve their squad was Towell. There was expectations more than 4th when K Fahey signed I say.

Why should Trevor Crolly not be given another chance. He might have learned some lessons after been over-promoted in the media as a great coach. The manager sacked before him by Jonathan Roache seem to have done OK.
