Doesn't feel like the real cork in green.
But they've only ever worn red for a couple of years?

Doesn't feel like the real cork in green. I also noticed a trend of supporters who had an interest in gaa and soccer in cork would buy the red city jersey and wear it in pairc ui caoimh or thurles as it was a bit " cool " and recognisable as cork straight away. Don't think it was a huge floating market or anything but you don't see that customer buying the green kits.
Cork soccer has always been green, besides a 5 year period between 1997 - 2002.

Personally, I feel that Bray should be forced to change to red.

so if Finn harps changed from white and blue to green and yellow would that incline Donegal fans to wear harps jerseys?

We have brought out yellow and green away shirts a few times but I don't think they were bigger sellers than usual. On the other hand Harps wander between anything from all white to all blue at home and nobody minds I don't think.

We haven't actually had a blue and white home kit for quite a while now, while we've had numerous green, yellow and green and yellow kits. Some of them have been pretty desperate too.

Far as I'm aware, we'll be launching 2015 jersey in the next week.

Don't worry it would not be the first time Bray wore red in Turners cross, John Stacey (Ref) made us wear Cork's red strip in a league match when there was a clash some years ago, and as I remember it was damp and smelly gear.

The one I remember is when Cork were fined heavily in 2007 after Bray had to wear a Cork 3rd strip (black) with gaffer tape over the sponsor. Anthony Buttimer was the Fourth Official, and he forced the issue.

Andrei Georgescu showed his Bray badge on a T-shirt after scoring.

The story was widely discussed at the time: have a look at http://foot.ie/archive/index.php/t-72620.html

For comparison purposes, here are the two 2007 strips (Cork on left):

Looks like the FAI summer school kits from years ago. If it had a sponsor it would look nice

    WHAT?

Sponsor-less jersies rarely look worse than a sponsored. In fact, I would go on to say 90% look better without.

The only time I thought a sponsor looked well as a part of a shirt was during our JWHire years and we had a blue trim on our badge and shorts as well.

Love the "I've no idea how I got here" look on his face. Apt.

Pats kit from 2013 looked much better with a sponsor.

It's sad that it has come to this but they do look bare without something on their chest IMO

That was a special shirt and when the sponsor fits in like JWHire or Nissan it works. But, I can't imagine what Cabinteely would end up with.

Most Limerick FC jerseys for the past 5 years have had no sponsor, and certainly not by choice either.
