Can only assume it's due to the fact they were all 16 when the offence(s) took place.

Hey far be it from me to stand up for them, just saying that'd be a factor for the judge along with the four year delay. Grim **** though, poor girl.

Well they gave him the contract in the first place after it happened, and presumably they knew he was going to plead guilty, so they'd have no basis for ripping it up. It's a despicable act he has pleaded guilty too and I hope for the sake of him and everybody around him that he's changed.
Lads, we're making public presumptions about a player convicted of a serious crime and a club that employs/employed him that hasn't been slow to get the solicitors letters sent out in the past. This can't end well.
Not really a presumption when the sentence was given today and he pleaded guilty.

Not going to say what I want to say about this but I'll just say lads if ye have younger sisters or daughters, please make sure you know who they are socialising with, where they are going at all times and that they always have several friends with them at all times when they are out, preferably including some male friends.
