I know with us there was a few occasions in our early LOI Days when we were in Abbeycartron that we had to play our games at Longford Rugby Ground... this would have being in the period from 1984 to 1993

The rugby ground and club in Longford is a lovely place, and I wouldn't in any way suggest that is related to a couple of very well-connected individuals within Irish rugby
