I think people who believe politics are not involved in football/uefa are mistaken.

It depends on what you mean by politics. Protesting about coruption in UEFA/FIFA/FAI/League or your own club/opposition club is fine. That's the politics of football. But bringing flags of Bobby Sands and William Wallace or having a protest over the Gaza conflict have nothing got to do with football. I agree with Danny. A handful of fans took it on themselves to have a political protest at Oriel Park. They never informed the club and when asked by the club to stop they refused. Dundalk have been punished but these so-called fans and hanger-ons are playing the victim. That's what annoys me!
