This Irish Mirror article leads with Stephen Folan to St Pats speculation, but the best bit is about Karl Sheppard

Up front, the Saints are still interested in Hoops striker Karl Sheppard but had a cash offer rejected by the Tallaght club.
Sheppard has been a peripheral figure at Rovers this season, albeit dogged by niggling injuries at times.
Rovers reject a cash offer for a player who Croly won't select and is out of contract in 3 months - please say it ain't so Joe........

Cash offer could mean any amount. Although Buckley could offer €5 million for Cornwall and Croly would say no (and vice versa)

Are you suggesting that their is an amount of money that is too little to justify parting with a player that just can't get a game with Rovers

    What?

Does vice versa mean that Croly could offer Buckley €5m to take Cornwall?

Croly is probably afraid to give Pat's players mid-season cos it'll show up the fact that he hasn't got the most out of his own squad. He got fierce criticism from Rovers fans when Kilduff was banging in goals for us last year and they badly needed a striker!

That's exactly what it means. Sigh

Fear not Shamrock fans, Croly has cracked the "science of football". Great things will follow and years of domination

Looks like Croly has a rival.

Joey N'Do and Sligo have played some beautiful and successful football for several seaons. Not likely to be repeated under their new manager.

Ok there's cutting the wage bill and then there's pulling the p!ss. Joey should never have been allowed leave.

Are his better days not behind him and the shock is out of nostalgia? Genuine question. On the plus side ye get rid of Djalili. And ye get Davoren - we were hoping for loan deal, but that went out the window once he was released by Cork.

Joey is the heart of the club. Awful decision to let him leave. Coleman has put himself under severe pressure now.

Ndo is passed it and Djalli is rubbish. Smart move from Sligo even if their fans are thinking with their hearts rather than heads.

Djilali might be a bit lazy but he's hardly rubbish by LOI standards. Wonder if he'll go back to England or stay here.

Ndo has been one of the top players in the league for years but he's getting on a bit now and out injured for a while. If Sligo are to rebuild next season, maybe Coleman wants to go with some younger players that are likely to be around for the next couple seasons

Town have signed Tom Morris a 19 year old defender last with Port Vale. I think he's English so I presume he's not moving over for peanuts even if it is probably just until the end of the season.
