don't panic only one club stopped the last amalgamation talks and it was not the hibs committee ... the town seem to think they were the super club and jerseys / crest andn name all had to be Shannon town

don't panic in case you don't know most clubs have changes in committee members every year that's what Agm's for .. ? you should have asked how many park people are still involved

    second ,

loads of rumours going round to date I have heard pulling junior team / dropping to div 4 in limerick and once again the old favourite going back into clare league ... personally I think they need to get something sorted as quick as possible what ever decision is made and stick with it at least them club have a plan and players can make up their minds to stay or leave .. did you hear any names mentioned for people asked .. ? I believe Donal magee was no 1 choice and also heard davy wall approached

Old Git, get your facts right. Ger Kelly was on here a while back and clearly stated that the ground, crest and colours didn't matter but the name did. From where I sit the only people holding it back are hibs committee

I also remember that post.. it was hibs who had the problem with the change over..surprising considering newtown and park all changed there name to form hibs.

Hibs will be in big trouble if they can't field a junior team this season.will have to start at the bottom of league if they do(clare or limerick).one junior club in Shannon could happen sooner than we think although Olympic seem to be getting by when people would have picked them to be the first to go...

That is until olympic have a bad season then all the mercenaries will jump ship again.. there is probably only 5 or 6 players there who have been with the club over 4 or 5 years..

Every second year Olympic have a bad season due to playing in the prem div in Clare but still get promoted the year after with whatever team they have..so whether the mercenaries leave Olympic seem to still manage..

gerdy told them weeks ago he was not intrested .. could not even think why they asked Ollie or mark as Olympic just promoted to premier in clare .. colm ryan would be the intresting one ? don't think jimmy would even be considerd

apologies so if Gerry Kelly said it it must be true so two sides to every story and I was just saying what I heard from an ex Hibs committee member ... if it was something as simple as the name I don't think clubs would have any problem

Lads hibs have a manager in place for next season. They will be playing in division 1b. Donal magee was asked and turned it down. Gerdy, ollie, mark mckee and jimmy dunne were never asked. Thanks for your time
