    The Masters 2014

    Happy Masters Day Everyone!

I have backed Rickie Fowler at 60/1 and Branden Grace at 200/1 ( PP paying 6 places )

60/1 is a nice price about Fowler - who was in the top 10 last week and was 3rd at the recent world Matchplay.

Branden Grace is a little out of form at the moment but had some good performances at the start of the year and was 18th last year on his debut. If he starts well he could be in with a shout at Monster odds.

That's huge odds for Fowler. Definitely worth a few quid.

Sergio Garcia at 16/1 might be worth a shout. Miguel Angel Jimenez at 33/1 also interesting odds. For such a big tournament, I think 125/1 for Ernie Els is massive odds, as it's the kind of tournament he'll go and have a stormer at.

As for Irish interest, Graeme McDowell at 80/1 is tempting.

Doubt he'll do much. Has shown nothing since playing Fr Fintan Stack.

Well that may possibly be true, Branden did his best "bottler" impression and is dead last following an 84 for +12. Some truly abysmal punting there. Fowler with a nice 71 this morning , he is 3 shots off the lead.
