If that player lived in Phibsboro it wold probably be easier if he went to Athlone first because as we know there's no direct bus to Tallaght.

Athlone team bus should technically go from Athlone alright. If there's players in Dublin, then let them toddle onto the games themselves, but if the team is from Athlone, why should the Athlone based players have to find their own way to games?

It clearly about numbers. More lads from Dublin mean the bus leaves from Dublin.
