That would be great and I hope it is, as I'm stuck in the house that night, can't make this game.

Setanta Sports have confirmed that they will broadcast the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game between Cork City and Drogheda United on Friday, October 3. The live programme, which will be broadcast on Setanta Ireland, will commence at 7.30pm with the game kicking-off at 8pm.

Credit to Setanta for the sensible kick off time. RTE's system of bringing games forward to 7.05 on a Friday is a joke

There has been Rovers TV, then Cork TV, now its the turn of Dundalk TV.

Away games against Athlone and Bray are to be televised by RTE. The home game against Shamrock Rovers will be televised by Setanta and will be our first home league game to be televised this season.

    Disgraceful Dublin bias from RTE.

Is that definitely confirmed by RTE showing Dundalk matches away to Athlone & Bray?

I thought I read before that they were going to show live games on these two Friday nights but it would be either Dundalk or Cork games.

Also heard there are no plans to televise the final match of the season between Dundalk & Cork.

If that's true and that match is meaningful that plan will surely change.

Yeah. RTE want title winning games, celebrations, trophy presentations. If that's Dundalk/Cork, they'll find space.

No doubt. They are probably waiting to see if it will be a title decider before adding it to the schedule.

7.05PM away kick offs in Athlone and Bray. Will def take at least 150/200 off our crowds to both (Unless we can win it in Bray, then im sure we will take 1000)

Fcuking RTE and their ****ty Kick Off Times

Whatever about Bray,it'll definitely have an effect on attendance in Athlone. With work I would have just made the 7.45 kick off but not now. It really annoys me that they are allowed to change a kick off time that will end up costing the home club money.

This is my problem too. I live in Kilkenny and can only just make our home games for 7:45. Early kick offs are a disaster. However, Setanta's 8pm start on Friday coming is more than welcome!

Not on telly now as per Athlone's Twitter. Remains 7.45 ko.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
