At least Setanta screen the matches at a reasonable time, RTE's 7:05 kick off's are a joke

Setanta have confirmed two matches this am.
Bohs v Pats on 11/07
Cork v UCD on 18/07
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
8pm and 8:05pm kick offs too. RTE could learn from them.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
The fixtures haven't fallen kindly on those weekends for them.. neither game is likely to attract much interest outside of fans of the clubs involved.
Shamrock v Dundalk is on next weekend but obviously can't be switched from the Sunday.
Nah, we've been on a couple of times since. Last time was the 2-1 defeat in the Bowl against Rovers a couple of years ago, when Rovers won the league (I think?) Game was actually postponed from the previous day due to a waterlogged pitch; only time I've ever known a UCD game to be called off. We were also on when losing 1-0 to Galway in 2008.
Funny, someone was predicting this to me at our last game, purely because there are so few games on that week. Can't see our awful TV record improving though.
That live tv fixture for Cork v UCD will surely decimate what was already prob already going to be a fairly poorly attended match ?
Cumann Peile Dún Dealgan - Champions 2015 (too many accolades to be typing)
Termonbarry Athletic TID!
Hasn't been a poorly attended game at Turner's Cross all year and I wouldn't expect that to change.
Agreed, and the smallest league crowd this season at the Cross has probably been just over 2k, possibly more.

Half hour build-up to the match tonight - 25 minutes longer than RTE provide.
Bohs v Cork moved to 8.05pm on Friday 25th to facilitate Setanta coverage.
I'd expect that our game v Dundalk the following weekend will also be shown unless Dundalk beat Hajduk Split.
We'll convert the entire country to Clonakilty Black pudding and sausages yet!
