i googled this during the week for obvious reasons and off the top of my head the answers were something like:

Less than a Grade 1 a few days to a week
Grade 1 likely 2 to 3 weeks
Grade 2 around 4-6 weeks (Gareth Bale current injury?)
Grade 3 8-12 weeks, worse if full rupture

I'd genuinely be interested in what TOWK has to say about my own experience and what my physio said in response. It is 100% proof that exerting yourself on a minor strain can lead to something more serious.

I think any claims that TOWK has been balanced about Keogh are beyond parody.

There is more than enough examples of Arter pulling out of squads and playing for his club afterwards to raise eyebrows.

Your memory on Arter's record of pulling out of squads and subsequently playing for his club has been shown to be unreliable on several occasions in this thread.

Just in case that comment on his excellent disciplinary record could be wilfully misconstrued, the article says he "missed just one game through suspension this season".

He has missed other games for Bournemouth this season on account of injuries or fitness issues. He missed their game against Swansea on the 18th of March (which was right before our game against Wales) due to a niggle picked up in a previous game against West Ham and, according to TransferMarkt.com, missed at least one other game (last October) due to a knee injury. That site clearly isn't up-to-date though as it fails to mention him missing Bournemouth's fixture against Swansea in March.

At the time I thought I got the ball. I’ve seen it again, one of the lads showed me in the dressing room, and it looked a little bit worse than I thought at the time. In real time, hand on heart, I honestly didn’t think it was going to be a free-kick. When you are playing you are just in the heat of the game and my only intention was to get the ball.

Joe [Allen] obviously felt the force of the tackle and then was unhappy with it. What I felt was good was his reaction, he didn’t roll around and try and get me sent off so I really do appreciate that. I apologised quite a few times to Joe at the time and at half-time and my only thought during it was to try and win the ball back.

He 's off the ground with studs showing from both feet, whether or not he got the ball is irrelevant it's was reckless. Ronaldo for sent off for something similar in the Manchester derby years ago
