The potential to be a good signing. He only played 22 times for us in the last 2 seasons, and even then it was with heavy strapping in some games. So I wasn't overly surprised when we didn't sign him back.
Derry apparently couldn't/ wouldn't match the money he was looking for, so interesting to know what Cork are paying him. Maybe after his short travels he's had a bit of a reality check on that front!!!
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
I'd say he's not on particularly big money, more likely probably happy to get a solid club, (especially one doing so well) at this stage.
Anyone else hear that a couple of title chasing teams are looking at Fabio O'Brien.
Not that Drogheda aren't title chasers themselves. 11 points after 5 games is great going.
According to journalist Neil O'Riordan, Paul Cook wants to sign Ciaran Kilduff and Ryan Brennan at Chesterfield in the summer.
Would not surprise me if Ryan Brennan gets a move over to England. I think he already may have an agent/adviser already over there, but that does not guarantee a move, but helps.
Ryan Brennan was linked with Chesterfield in the close season, before he signed for Shamrocks.
He may well have a release clause in his contract that allows him move without a fee.
No, I won't let him leave. And I'd be disappointed if Rovers are still offering players clauses where they can leave for free. It's completely small-time and most other clubs don't do it.
Kevin Deery and Owen Morrison supposedly have signed for Letterkenny Rovers of Ulster senior league tonight.
Absolute madness that an intermediate club are able to afford to shell out a bigger wage bill than the League of Ireland club in the same county.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
It's surely not that big of a surprise to Finn Harps fans who insist their players are playing for little more than peanuts. Both players have been around the block and probably aren't arsed travelling to your Wexford's, Cobh's and Waterford's for little or no money when they can play for a decent local team that will probably pay them similar to what they would get off Harps.
Both players are injury prone has-beens, I wouldn't be getting my knickers in a twist over it Nidgey.
roddy collins you're a flanker you're a flanker!

Craig Curran gone from Limerick FC. Huge loss.
The few times I have seen Limerick play Curran was impressive, so big loss indeed if no other player of similar ability comes in. He has been injured most of this season I think, and looking at the crowds at Thomond for Limerick games there is no way that the club can pay full-time wages without a subsidy from the owner.
A few rumours floating about that Roddy Collins has sacked Pizza Hutton as his assistant manager.
Pizza is a popular character within the squad so if this is true Roddy could be on thin Ice.
Might be a good time to stick a couple of quid on Rovers win tonight??
So you're saying Roddy may have ordered a Pizza takeaway before tonight's game?
