Just to start things off. Martin Cambridge has taken over at Cobh. Putting a nice squad together. Lost a lot of overage players from last season but still looking decent. Better finish then last season I'd say for them. Top 6?

Any new additions to the Northern/Southern Leagues? If not they'll probably be something like below

    Northern:
    Dundalk
    Derry
    Fanad Utd
    Letterkenny
    Finn Harps

    Southern:
    Limerick
    Mervue
    Wexford
    Longford
    Bohemians

GUST refused admission for this season. Bohemians and Finn Harps being the two relegated sides

Harps have a new management team and have lost quite a number of the young players to Derry as a result. I'd expect Derry to be looking at promotion from the Northern Division. May be pushed by Harps and Dundalk.

Two small leagues there. Something has to be done to get more non Loi teams involved. Acts as a great stepping stone to senior football as Cobh showed.

Do you know the names of these players Derry have signed from Harps?
Ryan Curran played in the Foyle Cup for Derry, who else have Derry signed from Harps?

Names were put to me the other day, but I honestly can't remember half of them. There's at least 3 or 4 of Harps under-19 squad from last year moved onto Derry.

Young Ryan Curran is one of them indeed.

Aye, I heard it all at the Danny Rouse Cup last night.

Cheers Nigel, thanks for the reply.

Going to start going to watch the city u19's this year. First game tomorrow against bray should be a good one. Some good players after coming through from that squad to the first team so will be good to have a look at some of the other lads that could breakthrough over the next year or two.

Sligo Rovers with a great start to the Elite Division today, 3-0 home win over Athlone Town. Some very good football on show, much better than the football the first team are producing at the moment.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
