In a reversal of last season, Adrian was given the chance to impress in the FA Cup against Man City...didn't quite work out for him the same as for Randolph, so I think Darren's status as our first-choice Premier League 'keeper is fairly solid for now anyway. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38465098

yeah but how many of those were signed by a non-British or Irish manager? And after 1993.

Yes, I reckon they were compiled by Joe Hart's mother who stopped at 22 to show Claudio in the worst possible light.

I haven't seen highlights yet but regardless of how he played it's pretty certain that West Ham have stabilised at the back, allowing them to now win games, since he has been in the team. Obviously ignoring games against Man City! I think if you micro-analyse his game you can find fault maybe a little more than you'd like to, but overall a keeper's longer term impact on a team is to provide solid base and he is doing that and more at WHAM, and has also done it for us. When he lines out on March 24th it'll be the first time he has played for us as an established EPL keeper with regular game time. Augurs well.

Read through the live updates and two specific finger-tip saves were called out. Looks like he's getting very confident. Conceded, but it was a hard deflection.

I don't think it was a deflection - Gabbiadini just leathered it in off the bar from 10 yards. It was as close to unstoppable as a shot gets.

Yeah I wouldn't blame him for the first goal at all but he was all over the shop for the equaliser. For a guy who specialises in dealing with crosses he's made a mess of quite a few.

Ya i messaged stutts keeper shouldnt be letting the ball through his legs.

He seems to have a problem judging the crosses ending up in no mans land. He is consistent.

Goalkeepers have to spread themselves to narrow the angle so it's a bit of a catch 22. The defender was the bigger culprit for that goal, he was really 'done'.

Good news for Randolph's longer-term first-team prospects at West Ham as Slaven Bilić has dismissed speculation that he's keen to bring in another goalkeeper: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foot...-a3482426.html

I was happy — and I am still happy — with Adrian and Darren Randolph.

If you ask me whether they will both still be here next season, I would say yes.

You can never be 100 per cent certain in football, of course, and maybe one of them will knock on the door and say he is unhappy but even if that happens, I will try to persuade them to stay at the club.

Maybe went down a little early for the Hazard goal but made a great save 2nd half.

Shocking penalty to the extent that it was so poorly placed that Randolph essentially smothered it in his belly and so tamely hit that he was well able to hold on.

    2 sh!te penalties for Bournemouth.

You could tickle Randolph with a feather and he wouldn't so much as crease his brow.

    10) West Ham can’t afford many more of Bilic’s ‘mistakes’

Anticipating that Leicester City would still be tired from their midweek exertions against Sevilla, Slaven Bilic asked his players for a fast start. Instead West Ham United gave away three cheap goals inside the first 38 minutes. Despite a dramatic late push for an equaliser, West Ham paid for their early, inexplicable doziness. They are winless in their past five matches and although they are nine points above the bottom three, their form is deeply concerning. West Ham are lacking in pace and creativity on the ball and intensity and aggression out of possession, and have forgotten how to defend. Darren Randolph does not convince in goal and there is a shortage of basic organisation throughout the entire 11. “Mistakes happen,” Bilic said. They are happening a lot. West Ham have conceded 52 goals in 29 matches, a record that raises questions about Bilic’s future. Jacob Steinberg

I was disappointed in Randolph for the first goal. I hate seeing a keeper get deceived by an inswinger that misses everyone. One of my yardsticks is how keepers deal with these. I'd rather a keeper gets beaten by a header than by failing to anticipate no contact.

If Bale was watching MOTD he'd have been licking his lips.
