his introduction was brief to say the least.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
However, the opposition remain the slicker unit. Central midfielder Patrick Byskata, who has been recommended to Shamrock Rovers, is solid in the centre of the park and the DVD will be making its way to Hoops' boss Trevor Croly.

Would that not be the last game you'd watch a DVD of to assess a player? Surely it'd make a lot more sense to find ones where the players are in actual competitive games for their clubs. I appreciate that that's probably not possible in all cases (Coll for example) but if a player has been at any decent level getting a few should be possible.

While I was being flippant of course it is getting predictable with TC and Rovers. Director of Football yet to be announced to assist Croly and to free up time for him to help the development of U19s involved in the 1st Division squad - but he of course will still be the man in charge of 1st team affairs and player acquisition!!?
It would be interesting to find out where all the players that played in Norway for the PFAI end up and how many actually get sorted out. Maybe the PFAI should publish this on their website before the season starts.
Some are fixed up since, aren't they?
Don Cowan's with Longford.

Mulvenna's done well out of it so - two clubs.
According to the LOI Blog Conor Powell has secured a move to Vard in Norway.

Yeah the PFAI were crowing about that. The Norwegian third tier, can't imagine it's up to much.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
It's mad thinking back about 4 years and Trapattoni mentioning him as a possible international.
Wow the third tier of Norwegian football. Surely that is way below the standard here?
