The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I dunno, i'm not inclined to put their facebook pages, for one its an absolute cop out for any club to think that a facebook page could replace a website. A facebook page will never be able to deliver the info that you would expect a football club to provide to players, parents (home and away teams) and refs, its just not possible. Its amateur and lazy.
I'm not against facebook at all by the way, its a good means of providing small bits of info and its a good way of generating interest etc. we all know the benefits but i dont think clubs can think they are providing a service to people with a facebook page and nothing else. Its inept and in my opinion a bit cheeky to ask parents to register their kids at the start of the season and take the bones of €100 off them while asking them to 'like' them on a facebook page.
