was it liam burns that played with ye today by any chance lads?
Very strange from Burns, can only presume he hasn't signed officially yet with Waterford.
Glad to see a few of the younger lads getting a run for Taylor to see. 5 under 19's there and they still managed to beat Mervue 8-0 even though the games clashed which shows good depth in the under 19 team.
I see Taylor and Thomson were at the Limerick Junior Soccer 1912-2012 book launch. Thomson was interviewed by 95fm and said they want to have a close connection with the junior teams around town and hopefully give a hand around if needed to help progress football in Limerick as a whole.
I have to agree I'm afraid... That team will struggle. Craig Burns is a funny one for me, I never really rated him. He's fine coming attacking a ball, but I'd worry about him when it goes in behind. In my opinion, a quick centre half is needed because two players who struggle with a ball in behind is a recipe for disaster.
