Time change for Station Road clash

This Saturday night’s eircom First Division clash between Kildare County and Limerick has been put back 30 minutes from 7.30pm until 8pm in order to allow fans travelling from Lansdowne Road to make the match on time.

The Republic of Ireland face Cyprus in their opening World Cup qualifying match at Lansdowne Road at 3pm on Saturday with both sets of supporters keen to see the tie either live or on television.

Limerick have caused a few surprises in the league lately with a win over promotion hopefuls Bray Wanderers a fortnight ago being their biggest win of the season so far.

Kildare are still in the hunt for a promotion place and are only six points behind Bray in the table with a third of the season left to play and many points to be picked up.

When the sides met on the first day of the season, the match finished scoreless, although the Thoroughbreds were 2-0 winners in their clash at the Pike Rovers Grounds in June.
