Hoey returns to Dundalk

Following Michael Coburn’s decision to take up the offer of a four-year scholarship in the U.S, Dundalk manager Jim Gannon has acted quickly to fill the gap left by the defender with the signing of David Hoey from Irish League side Glenavon.
Hoey returns to the club for his second spell after he left in December 2003 to link up with former Dundalk player Ollie Ralph at Newry Town, before spending last season with Glenavon.
