    As a little annecdote I remember years ago being at a 1st Division match in the RSC and 2 locals hopped the fence to get in... They asked the lad beside me who The Blues were playing... When they heard it was Drogheda they jumped back over the fence!!

    Away fans in Richmond;

    Dublin clubs;
    Rovers, Bohs, Shels (all 3 decent even if Rovers dipped). UCD bring the usual half dozen

    Non Dubs;
    Sligo brought a great crowd this year as you'd expect. Traditionally Dundalk bring good crowds but it was awful this year. Drogheda's was poor enough. Derry had 2 poor crowds (usually a lot more) but one of the games was a MOnday night. Cork brought a very good crowd (twice). Bray bring about 20

    You're missing the point, I'm more thinking of the impact the away team have on the size of the home crowd.

    Would a "10 game a season" fan be more inclined to go and see Pat's v Cork rather than Pat's v UCD.

    Oh right, totally misunderstood you there

    Think the qestion really only applies to non-Dubs. For Dubs its the 3 main derbies (in differing order depending on circumstances). UCD and maybe Bray probably rank lower than the country teams. Then its based on league position/challnegers that year. Normally there'd be no difference for Pats part timers between playing Sligo, Derry. Cork, Galway, etc etc
