I'm sure some of them were on to him. Wouldn't be surprised if we've sorted him out with a handy day job, we did when he was here previously. He's always planned on coming back, lives in Longford, married to a local girl. I'm told it'll be done shortly anyway, I'd be surprised if it isn't.

Bray would probably be a bit of an awkward commute, wouldn't it? Can see why he'd go for a team in the midlands.

Yeah, it'd be a bit of a trek, wrong side of Dublin from Longford really. Bray were talking about training first thing in the morning too I think which would be an additional ball ache.

He was class for us for the first half of last season , not so great in the 2nd half but still I'd say he'd boss the First Division

He really should be one of the stand out players in the league. Great to have him back. Provided he does actually sign of course, he's supposed to do so today and was apparently hoping to have a run out against Pats this afternoon.

Kirby, former Wexford Yoof Karl Keogh, and ex Shamrock Rovers/Dundalk/LTFC player Jamie Duffy all played for us today against Pats.

His pop career must have flopped so, last I heard Jamie Duffy was with some boyband called Boulevard.

He did all right for us when on loan in '07. Not done a lot since mind you. He's on trial at the moment apparently.

He was with us in the season we came up I think it was, started off well but just fell apart, got too predicatable and tried to take on his man with the same trick every time. Started getting abuse from fans and eventually lost his place in the team. Went to the Drogs after that I think and ended up in a boyband. Says it all really.
