    some more bad news

The galway duet Koegh and Mernagh have left Limerick Ollie decided to play in the salthill 5's when he was told not to by Kerley. When he found out he told Ollie not to bother showing up for any more matches. As it so happened Mernagh used to get his lifts from Ollie but now that he has no way of getting to and from Limerick he has also left the club and has annouced his services for his home town junior club Athenry for the forth coming season Pity as this young fella has major talent, if only he could give up the drink

great....just great. Down to skeleton staff again. What the hell was he doing playing a poxy 5 a side?? Surely there was a fine or suspension he could have got, rather than shown the door. We can ill afford this sort of sh1te.....btw, I thought that tournament was on a few weeks ago. Why is it only coming to a head now??.....mmmmmmmmmmmm maybe this is a wind-up??

The tournament was on during the bank holiday of June, but I believe its just the fact that Kerley told him not to play in it and he still went along to the tournament and played. It's also that this peice of info only came to Kerley lately. So, I kid you not, sorry

    ****in great

nice one. but i thought Keogh was crap anyway but a player anyway which we needed. I also heard on the grapevine that Alan Barry who is due to return to action in the next 2 weeks or so may not join up again as he isnt gettting on well with Kerlley...its only a bad rumour but one thats not to be ignored. so our squad now is
    Fyffe, Healy
O'Mahoney, Browne, Kerley, Aherne, Finnucane, new dutch guy
    Cosgrave, Conway, Hartnett, Quigley.
    O'Brien, Barry inj + a doubt
    injured...molam, White, hughes, sugure, Lynch.
gee i wonder what our starting 11 will be against UCD

I thought that Keogh was a messer and did not seem to have a first touch !! Mernagh kissing his badge in the last home game and all.

    This is F****ing ridiculous !!

So will you even have a full team for the game against us on Saturday?

Will you have any fanzines I could get?

There is the germ of a really good move for the club in this. There was a lot of media attention for Perugia last season when they signed a female player - but I don't think she played. If this player is any good (and may very well be better than some in the eL) then she should be given a go. What do Limerick have to lose - if there was a bit of flair in the cub then this is the type of media gain we could use. And she could be a decent player as well.

Is it possible to forward that email to the adminsitration of the club?

Can anybody confirm about mernagh for me couldnt give a toss about ollie keogh to be honest but than again i suppose it could be a case of beggars not being choosers at this stage unfortunately. In response to gael i heard strong rumour of a fairly major bust up between mike an alan after an away league game in Kilkenny earlier in the season but alan didnt walk then so dont see why he would walk now.... at least i hope to God he doesnt walk fine player.

I assume that your talking about the cigarette incident.

What I was told happened was that Alan was subbed off, came over to the bench and lit up. Now I like Alan, and do rate him highly in this year's squad, but if it is true Mike Kerley was right to have a pop off him.

That said I don't think Alan is still concerned over it, he's probably more pi$$ed off about about his stiking "partner"...
