Feck ya Brian, I had planned on an early nite so would be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the first Monday morning in my new job but decided to have a wee flick through the book and 2 hours later am just putting it down. Not sure I will sleep though coz the Bray grey day is now replaying on a constant loop in my head after reading about it.
Such an impressive book and to have accidentally ended up with the very first copy makes me feel extra privileged! Go buy it people or I will batter you with my copy!
Got my copy of Brians book on Saturday night and it is a very impressive tome (and that is not me being swayed by Loi's answer to Laurel and Hardy, AKA Roddy and Brush).
Definite buy for any LOI fan (and Shams supporters*). Every club covered with history/info. More facts than you would find in three Dodge posts together and more humour than a post by...... well, make up your own minds.
Great job Brian, a positive addition to the (all too limited) range of LOI books out there

They have one copy in Easons Dún Laoghaire and I very nearly bought it but I'm gonna give my money on the night of an event.
Up in Turners Cross Friday- then onto the Evergreen Bar directly after the Cork City v Longford Town game (Damien Richardson hosting, guests including Bobby Tambling, Jackie Morley) at around 9.45.
Hoping to ger a decent crowd.
Next night (Saturday 22nd its Monroes in Galway for the launch in the City of Tribes with various guests and the three Galwegiand clubs attending.
Still trying to fit a few more in.

as far as I know he lives in Kinsale, works with their underage sides too? He was City's first ever manager and he has some great stories to tell
