Yes, we all know now so you might as well deleted it.
I will pretend it never happened.
If we do manage to hang onto Grealish there should be a pat on the back for everyone in the FAI who has been involved. They seem to be handling the situation exceptionally well, as was done with McGeady and McCarthy in similar situations
Its really not that complicated!!!

Latest rumour on Grealish. A loan move to Forest would make sense as it is a step up from his experience at Notts County and would give him regular game time. I suppose it all depends on how Lambert views his ability to progress.

Think it got missed on this thread. Jack retweeted this Sunday evening:

Seems a balanced blog piece that says he has great potential and needs time and space.
A minor disappointment if it happens as it indicates he's probably not quite ready for the Premier League as yet and I guess I would concede that it would become unlikely that he would figure in this season's qualifiers (unless he really takes the Championship by storm). Still, a run-out against the US might be of some use (if the earlier article is accurate) along with a couple of friendly appearances next summer with an eye to the last four Euro 2016 games.
Gareth Bale almost moved to Forest when he was Grealish's age, but decided to stay at Tottenham and fight for his place. He hasn't turned out too bad.
Yeah, he came in for the injured Assou-Ekotto at left back. When Assou-Ekotto returned from injury he pushed Bale up to left midfield and the rest is history. I'm not sure Redknapp ever wanted to sell him though, but Forest definitely showed some interest.

you were right, according to this article on the potential move- http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/23947384 - it was Bale who decided to stayWould that mean Spurs wanted to sell him?it was Bale's decision to stay at Spurs and "fight" for his place.
Spurs were trying to sell him. Martin Jol said recently that Hamburg were offered him for £6m but they couldn't come up with the money, and there have been stories going back a few years about Championship clubs being offered him.
Well why wouldn't they sell a player who wasn't getting in the side I suppose. To say they wouldn't let him leave for less than 6m shows they must have rated him some bit. They had only spent 7m on him so it wouldn't have been that big a hit for a perceived flop. In fairness to Redknapp, he gave him his chance, by hook or by 'crook', and Bale repaid him handsomely. Redknapp transformed Spurs, and it was probably his attacking philosophy that allowed Bale to really prosper, so I wouldn't begrudge him a little bit of credit for how things developed.
Seems to have been the case he was considered good but not that good or at least had potential, I don't know if anyone can claim to
have known how good he would be at that point. It seems things happen more by accident than intent.
Anyhow Juande Ramos was manager of Spurs when they signed Bale so he should take the credit, Spur thanked him by sacking him
Might Grealish get an earlier call than expected in the absence of Wes, Whelan and Reid from the Scotland game? Who else besides Paul Green can make up the midfield numbers?
