As far as i'm aware - Womens football still a high priority for FAI. apparently alot of restructuring within FAI but all development officers are focused on development of womens football. Sue is head of elite football while Paul now works in grassroots with grassroots unit.

Cant believe Rovers have been parachuted into this league
Dont fulfil so much of the criteria requested prior to expressing interest

What sort of criteria was requested prior to expressing interest? From what I've heard Rovers put a great presentation to the FAI and far exceeded all the requirements.

Mainly the criteria about actually existing! Rovers let their ladies section lapse many moons ago
    No Senior team
    No elite players
    No underage set up
    The deadline for application

Great Presentation? Did that include links to a schoolgirl club that doesn't exist like their website?

Hi Gufcfan, got your message, no problem at supplying that information, it will be on SRFC website too but any info you need I will supply. Unfortunately there was no DVD so cant send you that :-) (On a plus note, great links with local Girls teams and growing)... exciting times for this new league, great work happening on the ground by all teams.

Interesting draw for Peamount; French champions PSG! Unlike many of their counterparts elsewhere PSG pour serious resources into their ladies and many of the players are on semi-pro contracts. Big games are played in Parc de Princes, often in front of big crowds. Otherwise they play at the Loges in St. Germain where the rest of the PSG sides play.

Anawez, I look forward to seeing Peamount here in Paris (assuming it's a two-legged affair.
