    Articles from Sidebar

Take for example the "It's El Classico" thread (http://foot.ie/threads/134373-Articl...Classico-quot-...) currently in the sidebar on the front page. It takes three links, and two new windows to be able to read the full article.

Is it possible to cut down on the number of new windows, if not the amount of clicks it takes to get to the final article?

This is the sidebar on the homepage? You really shouldn't be getting any new windows, and should go straight to the article.

What you posted above is a thread though, not an article. You've kinda lost me tbh. What path did you use to get there?

    Thanks,

Click on the headline and it brings you to a page where it says click to read full story

On the sidebar it brought you to the home page then the page saying click for full story and then when you clicked it showed the full story

When viewing http://foot.ie/forum, and clicking an article in the 'new threads' sidebar.

The El Classico one has been pushed down now, but when it was there, it brought you to this page, within the same window.

When you click the link on that page, it opens a new window with the first couple of paragraphs, with another link at the bottom to the whole article, which again opens another window.

Ah right I get ye now. The problem is that they shouldn't be appearing there in the first place, but the comments for articles on the homepage are actually put into a forum, and the contents of that forum and showing up in the Threads sidebar. I'll report it as a bug, thanks for pointing it out.
